My name is Jessica Smith and I am currently a graduate student at the University of Kansas, pursuing a degree in Speech-language pathology.  I received my bachelors degree from K-State and after graduating, moved to the Kansas City area.  I have over 10 years of experience nannying/babysitting, from ages birth-15!  For 3 years, I worked as a direct support worker for a young boy who had hydrocephalus, a gastrostomy feeding tube and a tracheostomy tube as well as an autism diagnosis.  I have a lot of love for kiddos and I hope to work in an elementary school when I graduate next May.  I love crafts, being outside, and keeping kids busy and away from technology.  I’m very bubbly and love chatting with kids about their dreams or whatever stuffed animal is their favorite at the time :).

I’m hoping to find some occasional evening/weekend babysitting jobs.  Since I am in school (and currently planning a wedding), I do get busy!  At this time, I am unable to be a full-time nanny! 🙂
