Nhukim Nguyen

Hello! My name is Nhukim Nguyen and I am a full-time undergraduate junior at Rockhurst University. I am majoring in Biochemistry and minoring in Psychology, and I am working towards attending medical school one day! I am a pharmacy technician at CVS Pharmacy and I am Student Senate President at Rockhurst. In my free time, I love to create scrapbooks or video montages as a way to capture and reflect on my memories! I describe myself as a very responsible, positive, trustworthy, and creative person. I signed up for NouNouNeighbors as a way to save up for money for school and to help local parents get a well-deserved night off!

When I was in high school, I worked for my local elementary school’s Before and After School Care Program. This opportunity taught me how to create an engaging, safe, and enriched environment for children from 5-12 years old! Throughout undergrad, I’ve babysat for children as young as 1 years old and as old as 14 years old. During the pandemic, I tutored my 7 year old cousin throughout his entire virtual first grade year because his parents had to work. As a babysitter, I value spending playful, yet also educational time with children! I look forward to meeting you and your family!
