Maggie Kasparek

Hi everyone! I’m Maggie Kasparek. I’m a 20 year old college student at Emporia State University majoring in Elementary Education with an English as a Second Language Endorsement (ESL) and I’m also taking a class to learn sign language.

I’ve been a babysitter and nanny for about 5 or 6 years. I absolutely love children, hence why I want to be a teacher. I’ve gotten the opportunity to babysit for a few hours, all the way up to working with the same family for 2 summers in a row. In the summer of 2018, I got a position where I was able to lead and run a home daycare, underneath my boss. It was one of the coolest experiences and I enjoyed it so much! I’ve worked with kids of many different ages.

While going to school, I work part time. I work at the daycare that is located on my universities campus and I also babysit for a family a few times a month on Fridays!
