Haley Hungerford

Hello, my name is Haley! I’m 23 and a junior at Emporia State University. I’m studying Elementary Education and super excited to begin student teaching next fall. I decided to become a teacher because the passion I have for working with children. I have several years of experience working with infants, toddlers and older children. I had the opportunity to be a part-time nanny the past couple of summers and absolutely loved this experience. Likewise, I have many other experiences working with children. In the past years, I have been a catechist, babysitter, nanny, student teacher in Italy, early preschool teacher, and more! I am currently a substitute teacher in the Shawnee Mission school district.
