Brooke Biasella

Hi! My name is Brooke Biasella and I have been nannying for almost five years now! I have worked with a variety of kids and age groups from 6 months to 14 years of age. I was an Au pair (live-in Nanny) in Auckland, New Zealand in 2017 before going to Kansas State University. I started nannying in 2015 locally around the Kansas City area. Given the situation our world is facing my classes have transitioned to online and I am back home in Overland Park, KS. Below is a little about me and why I love working with kids!

I love working with kids and seeing them grow day to day. I throughly enjoy being apart of their journey into maturing into young adults. I enjoy getting kids out the house and away from screens to explore the area around them, like going on walks and seeing what pieces of nature we can find. We can also go to the pool and play in the water, or visit the local fire station and thank them for their hard work. I want them to get outside and experience the world around them. On rainy days its always fun to do art projects and science experiments as well as some cooking or baking. I really enjoying cooking and love incorporating yummy healthy foods into breakfast, lunch, and snacks. I also understand how important learning and growth is during this stage of life. I try to incorporate this into every activity.If this through going to the bank once a week and counting the coins and cash before making a deposit. Reading books every day to finding words that aren’t familiar and looking them up in the dictionary. Maybe we can try to learn a new language together. I am minoring in German so I love to show kids aspects of German culture. I want kids to feel they are learning without even knowing it because it has become fun and interactive. I want kids to feel loved and know they are heard and seen by me.
