Hi there! My name is Emma Bastien and I am an incoming junior at the University of Kansas where I study Psychology. Now home for the summer, I am currently looking to nanny kids. I have nannied/babysat for most of my life and have developed a passion for it. As previously mentioned on my page, I went into Psychology because of the relationships and lessons I have made through helping families by providing their kids with care. I have a dream to counsel children to help them understand their emotions are perfectly normal at such a young age, and then guide them to cope with difficult situations if they may appear.

In addition, I have lived in the area for my entire life, first in Mission Hills, where I stayed for 15 years, then in Prairie Village for 1 year, and lastly Leawood, which we recently moved in November. I love the area but if you are located farther out, I am more than happy to make the drive as I do have transportation. If you have a little one, I have taken a course at my old high school Bishop Miege, where we learned how to perform CPR, so although I am not certified, I am informed on the procedure. My sophomore year I transferred to Shawnee Mission East to explore more options outside of catholic school. SME was able to guide me in service projects, sports, and electives such as choir to be more involved in my school.
